Assassins Creed The Secret Crusade

I don't generally think much of video game novels, and I also try my hardest to not give out 5 stars to anything that I don't consider actually worthy of not being considered to have any imperfections. So let me say that this book based on the fucking Assassins Creed games is actually one of my favorite and most interesting pieces of literature I have read without a doubt. It certainly helps that Assassins Creed 1 was more interesting to think about than actually play, with an already deep story that touched on philosophical concepts not often thought of in regards to gaming especially at the time. So much so that I'd argue it's served better in the form of a book than that of the game. Not to mention Oliver Bowden himself is simply fantastic at actually adapting dialogue and describing scenes from gaming to literature.
